Beauty in Real Life: “Now, why didn’t we think of that?”
We hear that a lot.
Check out the spotlight on Tassi at Beauty in Real Life.
They plan on doing a give away of some Lime Green Tassies soon. Keep checking their website for details.
Tassi - where have you been?
Jen has good things to say about Tassi on today’s blog at Mommies with Style. Here is an excerpt:
“Everyone has their own get-ready-for-bed routine. Mine involves a whole process to safeguard my hair from water as I wash my face and remove makeup. (I have really curly hair that I straighten, so if my hair gets wet it is ruined!) I use a number of items to do this – a hair clip or rubber band, a head band to keep the hair back, and sometimes a shower cap! Whew, what an annoying ordeal!
“And then I learned about Tassi. Oh, Tassi… where have you been all of my life? This simple ingenious little product is amazing and so easy to help keep my hair out of my face, clean, and dry.”

Joanna loves Tassi Too!
Thanks to Joanna at “JoJo’s Place” for another great Tassi review:
I love my Tassi! What is a Tassi you may ask? Well, it’s this cool new way to “keep your hair outta there”! Outta wear? Your face or the water if your brushing your teeth (if your likeme)…You see I have long hair that is always in my way. When I brush my teeth if my hair has already been fixed, I always have Zack or Kayla hold my hair outta the way so that it won’t get in the water. I could just put it up but it would leave a crimp or dent in it where I twisted it up with a butterfly clip or where I used a pony tail holder. Not pretty! Then there is the look when I wash my face…My hair is pulled up in a pony tail and I put a head band on to keep the stray hairs outta the way. This is something that can never be accomplished when my hair is fixed, because it would just really mess it up! Not now because I have a Tassi!
Behold the Tassi….You slide the Tassi around your neck and then pull it up on your head, sorta like those head bands, then you simply put your hair in the little “pouch” in the back! Presto, you can wash your face, put your make up on, brush your teeth, whatever you want to do without your hair getting messed up or in the way!
I love it, and I can see why it was awarded the “Best New Beauty Accessory Award” at the Extracts Show in New York City.
The Tassi comes in many colors and will make the perfect gift for any lady or girl in your family! I know that this will be on my list of gifts to give this year!
Thank you Tassi for giving me the opportunity to review an awesome product!!
America’s Best Magazine (July/August 2008)
America’s Best, The Magazine for the Small Business Owner, features Shawna Ellsworth in its July/August 2008 issue as one of the entrepreneurs whose “quirky creations led to success.”
Here is an excerpt from the article “Unconventional Inventions”:
One of the most important lessons Ellsworth said she’s learned is that she can succeed and she has plenty of support. “It’s been really fun to get out of my circle and meet people all over the world,” she said. “There are a lot of really great, helpful people out there if you just ask them.”

Molly’s Favorite Things
Another great Tassi review by Molly on ….a few of my favorite things.
Molly says:
“The moment I tried the Tassi, I was sold. Tassi is a fairly new company I was introduced to not long ago, and I knew I had to share the greatness with my readers! . . . It is super simple to use and really works. I use it daily for washing my face + taking a bath + applying my makeup. It is one of those clever inventions where you say to yourself, “why didn’t I think of that?”. It comes in a rainbow of colors and is only $14.99. So you really have no excuse not try it out.”
Molly will be giving away two Tassies on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Check out her blog to find out how to enter.
